WHAT TYPE OF AMMUNITION IS USED?

It is preferred that you bring training ammunition (FMJ) to training. You can shoot defense rounds (Hollow Point) during training if you prefer but it is not necessary.

DO NOT USE STEEL CORE! NO GREEN TIP PENETRATOR ROUNDS. Please be advised that we occasionally shoot steel targets so do not bring steel core to prevent damage to our equipment. If you cause damage or destroy our equipment then you will be charged a replacement fee for the equipment.

We encourage students to find their own ammunitions if possible. However, we do have some ammunition we can provide (depending on caliber) for an additional fee.
